Situated near mighty river Nila it is one of the best educational institution in Palakkad district.
The KV established in 1986,it was inaugurated by His Excellency K R Narayanan, the then
vice president of India.
School is built in a traditional nalukettu style with an inner courtyard.
There are 45 classrooms, for classes from 1 to 12th.Affiliated to the central board
of secondary education (CBSE) and in collaboration with the national council for educational research and
training (NCERT), it functions under the autonomous body, kendriya vidyalaya sangathan (KVS), which was set
up way back in 1962, in order to provide a common program of education to
